One Piece TCG

What’s the price point look like to play this game casually/at locals, and what’s a good way to learn the mechanics?

I played MTG for a while but fell off because standard was A Billion dollars to upkeep and EDH was annoying to find a group that wanted to play the same game you did. I’m curious about this game because I like the art and want to play a game where I can main Buggy, but based on the visuals/layout of it I get Cardfight Vanguard vibes, which was fun as shit but INSANELY expensive to make a functioning deck, especially with the wild rigidity you had to build within. I’m fine with having to buy singles, and honestly prefer it to gambling with packs, but games with the ‘You *need* 4x this card that only comes as a one-of in a booster deck if you want your archetype to function’ are kinda eye-rolly to me. For the second question, I’ve tried looking on youtube for a guide briefly a few times, but always end up getting frustrated with them because they all seem to be talking to the viewer as if they’ve never heard of the concept of a ‘card game’ and I get exhausted listening to them describe the obvious/basic stuff before they can get into the mechanical meat of the game. Any/all advice is appreciated. submitted by /u/Mysterious-Pitch3426 [link] [comments]
