Pointers for a first timer

I'm sure this has been over asked but I've never opened a real pack (just PTCGP) and I'm interested in starting but there are so many pack variations that it's a bit intimidating. I don't really care about finding valuable cards but I will want to get some FA I pull (if I even pull any!) graded/slabbed for aesthetics. I pretty much stopped watching Pokémon after Season 2 (I'm giving away my age here) so I have more affinity for the original 151, what would be the best packs to buy? submitted by /u/HeathenFezz [link] [comments]
