Treasure CUP and Championship

Hello everyone, I have a question since I am new to competing in the One Piece TCG. I saw on the official website that (at least in Europe) the Treasure Cup and the Championship are on the exact same day. As someone that is new to competing in One Piece (and TCGs in general) what is the difference between the two, which one should I compete in if I can only do one, in which will I face the tougher competition?
