Rule Changes Resulting In Bans Should Be Polled Again Now That People Are Aware Of The Pole From This Weekend

As someone that frequents this sub, on a daily basis, I was surprised to see major rule changes are being made without ever seeing a pole about it. Before such changes are made, I personally believe a certain amount of members should have to vote, and be given ample notice with more than a few days to vote. I understand why some people would want to ban others for their posts or participation on this sub. What I do not understand is why it's anyone else's business what other subs people frequent or participate in. No one should be judged for what they do on other subs, they should be banned if they break the rules on this sub. Why don't members here have more of a say in how visitors will be treated?
