I feel so bad for new collectors

So I’m a pure collector and don’t really play the game. I also don’t buy a lot of product. I was looking at some cards I bought earlier this year and if the market was the way its is now I wouldn’t be able to afford most of them. The main one being an alt art Sanji leader from OP O2. I saw him at a card show and had a bit of money to spend and saw a psa 10 of him for $60. I decided that I wanted to buy my first alt art leader and didn’t really care it was graded. I am now seeing sales for the exact same card and grade for $270. I can’t afford that. On top of that a couple of months later saw the Luffy OP O9 alt art leader for $45 and decided to get him. The cheapest one on TCG player is $145. This is absolutely ridiculous. I can’t buy 1 card for that much and it shouldn’t be expected. If I joined when the prices were this bad I would’ve just left.
