Luckily, they did: solid amount of PFL bundles/sleeves, DR sleeves, and JT bundles. Great restock. While I was there, I saw the local scalper with a cart, clearly deciding what to grab. I grabbed 2 sleeves of each to try my luck, then went back and picked up 2 PFL bundles just for the hell of it. (Store had a 2-item limit per item.) Not even 2 minutes later—from checkout back to the card section—all the PFL bundles (8–10 of them) were gone, and a whole section of DR sleeves had disappeared. I was confused because it was literally just the scalper and me in the Pokémon aisle. Immediately, I knew he had scooped them. I saw him coming from the back of Target near the baby section. As he walked by, his cart only had a few sleeves and a JT bundle. My gut told me to look around, and sure enough, he kept walking back toward the same stroller/carseat area. I walked up and asked, “So where are we hiding it all?” He froze like a deer in headlights. “What do you mean? All I got was some sleeves and a JT bundle.” Come on, bro—it’s only you and me here for Pokémon. I looked to my right and saw a few PFL bundles hidden behind carseats. I grabbed those 3 bundles, checked out (they let me buy all 3), and left since I was on my lunch break. Shortly after, a friend went and I told him what happened. He found a stack of sleeves hidden behind another carseat, but I’m sure the scalper moved the rest after I exposed his little stash. Now, that video at the top with OpossumBud? That’s the scalper. He’s a notorious scalper in the area and has a whole crew that clears shelves all over. He’s banned from Walmart too. His place was broken into and about $50k in product was stolen. I don’t condone theft or want anyone to get robbed, but it’s part of the context. Never really believed people actually hid product like this, but today proved it. Just wanted to share, because it sucked seeing firsthand how far people will go just to stop others from having a fair shot at buying this stuff. **TL;DR:** Caught a major local scalper hiding Pokémon product at Target to dodge limits and clear the shelves. submitted by /u/Xephervii [link] [comments]
