Is Pockets EX and IR Rates inverted compared to actual Cards? EX’s seem a lot more common irl
I started playing Pocket, which kinda made me interested in collecting the Physical cards, and after some packs,a booster bundle, and an ETB. I only have 2 full art illustration rares, whereas I have about 9 EX cards, though only 5 of the 9 in my binder were pulled, rest were trades or singles bought. Whereas in Pocket it certainly feels more like 1 star full arts are more common than EXs? I do have more EX’s but well I guess you have to account for the Deluxe Pack which had the guaranteed hits, though Ig I also trade EX’s much more than 1 stars, dunno if anyone really trades 1 stars that often. Idk just found it interesting my guess, is obviously TCG for battling is much more popular IRL and live, so it makes sense for EX’s to be much more common physically. In Pocket EX’s are about 1/15, in contrast to 1/5 as reported by TCG player. Whereas in Physical actually seems to match with Pocket with IR’s being around same ish 1/10 with exceptions like Black Bolt and White flare. So seems it’s true. I guess in Pocket it makes EX’s more scarce? So you pull more for the diamond collection, and encourages trading? Idrk. Guess it makes a bit difficult to get the best cards for ranked. But yeah often you can just buy battle decks in real life so makes sense EX’s wouldn’t be that rare. submitted by /u/Gallad475 [link] [comments]
