How to Bid on Auctions

Learn how to participate in auctions and place bids on your favorite cards.

Finding Auctions

Browse Homepage: Active auctions are displayed on the main page
Use Search: Search for specific cards or categories
Filter Results: Use filters to narrow down auctions by category, price, or ending time
Click for Details: Click on any card to see full auction details

The current highest bid is displayed prominently on the auction page.

Enter a bid amount that is at least the minimum increment higher than the current bid. The minimum increment is shown below the bid input field.

You can set a maximum bid amount and let the system automatically bid for you up to that amount.

Review your bid amount and click the button to place your bid.

Auto-bidding helps you stay competitive without constantly monitoring the auction.

How it works: Set your maximum bid amount
System bids for you: Automatically places bids up to your max
Stops when exceeded: You'll be notified when someone bids higher than your max
Privacy: Other bidders only see the current bid, not your maximum

When the auction ends:

Bids are binding: Once placed, bids cannot be retracted
Payment deadline: Winners must pay within 3 days
Extended Auctions (Soft Close): If a bid is placed in the last 5 minutes, the auction end time extends by 5 minutes. This prevents 'sniping' and gives everyone a fair chance.
Winner Selection: The winner is determined by the highest Max Bid. If amounts are equal, the earlier bid wins.
Account required: You must be logged in to bid
