Making Offers on Buy It Now Items
Learn how to negotiate prices with sellers through the offer system
What are Offers?
Some "Buy It Now" listings allow buyers to make offers below the listed price. If the seller accepts your offer, a transaction is created at the offered price.
How to Make an Offer

Find Eligible Items
Look for the "Make Offer" button on Buy It Now listings. Not all listings accept offers.

Submit Your Offer
- Click the 'Make Offer' button
- Enter your offered price
- Select quantity (if buying multiple)
- Add an optional message to the seller
- Submit the offer

Wait for Response
The seller has 48 hours to respond to your offer. You'll receive a notification when they accept or reject it.
If Offer is Accepted
- A transaction is created automatically
- Item is reserved for you
- You must complete payment within 3 days
- View in Dashboard â My Purchases
If Offer is Rejected
The seller may provide a reason for rejection. You can:
- Make a new offer with a higher price
- Buy at the listed price
- Look for other listings
Rules & Limits
- Expiration: Offers expire automatically after 48 hours if not accepted.
- Offer Limit: You can have a maximum of 3 pending offers per item. If you reach this limit, you must wait for a response or cancel an existing offer.
Tips for Successful Offers
Be Reasonable
Don't lowball too much. Reasonable offers are more likely to be accepted.
Add a Message
Politely explain why you're offering that price. Personal messages can help.
Viewing Your Offers
Track all your offers in Dashboard â Activity â My Offers tab. You'll see:
- Pending offers waiting for seller response
- Accepted offers that became transactions
- Rejected or expired offers
