Why KYC is Required

KYC (Know Your Customer) verification ensures platform safety and trustworthiness. It helps us:

  • Prevent fraud and scams
  • Protect buyers from fake sellers
  • Ensure accountability
  • Build community trust

What You Need

1. ID Card Photo

  • Clear, well-lit photo
  • All text readable
  • No glare or shadows
  • Valid (not expired)

2. Selfie with ID Card

  • Hold ID next to your face
  • Face clearly visible
  • ID text readable
  • Good lighting

Verification Process

Complete Your Profile

Go to Dashboard → Profile Settings and fill in all required information (name, phone, address).

Upload Documents

Go to Dashboard → KYC Verification and upload both required photos.

Submit for Review

Click 'Submit Verification'. Your documents will be reviewed by our team.

Wait for Approval

Usually takes 24-48 hours. You'll receive a notification when reviewed.

Verification Approved

Once approved, you can:

  • Create auction and Buy It Now listings
  • Sell unlimited items
  • Receive payments from buyers
  • Build your seller reputation

Verification Rejected

Common rejection reasons:

  • Blurry or unclear photos
  • Text not readable
  • Expired ID card
  • Face not clearly visible in selfie

Solution: Fix the issue and resubmit!

While Waiting

During KYC review, you can still browse, bid, and buy items. You just can't create listings yet.

Data Privacy

  • Your documents are encrypted and stored securely
  • Only admin team can access verification data
  • ID information is never shown publicly
  • We comply with data protection regulations
